𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐒𝐆 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬

February 27 – The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, in collaboration with the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) welcomed 20 alumni of the 2024 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the International Exchange and Leadership Program (IELP) for a debrief event to discuss their experiences in the United States.  Professionals from government, law enforcement, business, media, and academia reflected on the impact of their exchange experiences in the United States and discussed ways to further strengthen U.S.-Pakistan cooperation.  Minister Counselor for Public Diplomacy, Lisa Swenarski, expressed her appreciation for the efforts and work of alumni as they continue to strengthen relations between the United States and Pakistan. The insights and experiences from the newest group of alumni highlighted the lasting impact of U.S. exchange programs in fostering professional growth, collaboration, and innovation. It also demonstrated how the experience is leading to expanded cooperation between U.S. and Pakistani organizations helping make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.
