About

About PUAN?

The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) is a community of alumni from U.S. exchange programs dedicated to making a positive impact in Pakistan and around the world. Members of the network engage in community service, provide mentorship, and inspire future exchange participants. This network is jointly administered by the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).

With more than 45,000 members, the network is amongst the world’s largest alumni networks of the U.S. government-funded exchange programs. As of October 1, 2024, PUAN membership will be limited to U.S. government-funded exchange participants who traveled to the United States for at least five days.
