Freeha Javed is our English Access Microscholarship Program alumna (2015-2017). Freeha was very ecstatic when she got enrolled in this scholarship and it was a different experience for her. She was an ordinary teenager struggling with her life and was seeking direction. Access Program explored and polished her skills and personality through different activities and opportunities. Access has played a vital role in her success. Because of the good performance in her class, she scored opportunities. She went to Turkey for 15 days and attended an international summer “Camp Future Star” where she met students from India and Afghanistan, and it was indeed a multi-cultural environment with full diversity. This exchange program opened a world full of cultural diversity and harmony for Freeha. “Access brought many opportunities that enabled me to think for the society through community services. This program was organized by Pakistan U.S. Alumni Network. By becoming an alumna of PUAN, I can attend many conferences and events because of my skills that I gained through this program”. Freeha was also part of the last International Meet Pakistan Through Culture Conference which was held in Islamabad. She also attended many other conferences that give alumni leadership skills and the courage to do something beneficial for their community “I’m grateful for what I’m today and will never stop thanking PUAN, and my teachers Miss Irum and Miss Maimoona who showed me the brighter way towards success,” Freeha Javed wants to become doctor in future and we wish her all the best.
