Members of PUAN Interest Group Energy and Environment recently met Ms. Kritin Hawkins, Counsel General US Consulate General Lahore to discuss critical environmental matters in Punjab.

They delved into the complex factors affecting Lahore’s air quality – industrial pollution, vehicular emissions, agricultural burning, and atmospheric conditions that trap pollutants.

The discussion concluded with a united call to action. It’s our collective responsibility to preserve our environment.

Together, we must reinforce and enforce environmental regulations, promote cleaner technologies, and foster collaboration among the government, industry, and the public to improve air quality in Lahore.
