Her journey began with an MS in Human Resource Management, and since 2007, she has dedicated herself to training and consulting for various sectors, making a significant impact on organizations worldwide. Currently serving as a consultant with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Hina’s influence extends far beyond borders. Under IVLP Impact Award, she is currently an initiative for “Aspiring ICONS Digital Stories.” The project, standing for Inclusion’s Champion Optimizing Nurturing Societies, aims to build and enhance a conducive ecosystem in underdeveloped areas of Pakistan. These areas have historically excluded significant groups of people from positions of power. Hina’s project takes a hands-on approach, training 40 women participants, or ICONS, from Azad Jammu and Kashmir in creating digital stories. The focus is on thematically promoting social cohesion, gender inclusion, and leadership.
Through the creation of digital stories that highlight success stories, Hina’s project empowers women and transgender individuals, inspiring others to stand up for themselves. It’s a step towards a more inclusive and empowered society, where everyone has the opportunity to contribute to positive change.
Hina Nisar Sadouzai’s story is one of dedication, empowerment, and a relentless pursuit of a world where diversity is celebrated, and inclusion is the cornerstone of societal progress. Her Aspiring ICONS Digital Stories project is set to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who have been marginalized, bringing them to the forefront of positive transformation.
