We’re thrilled to celebrate Mr. Hameed ul Mehdi, a proud PUAN alumnus, who has been honored with the International Community Development (ICD) Award 2025 by the Community Development Society (CDS).

This prestigious award recognizes individuals making a lasting impact in international community development and Mr. Mehdi’s work speaks volumes. His contributions span from grassroots initiatives to international engagement, with a strong focus on inclusive development, including the Girls’ Karate Tournament for Hazara girls in Quetta, supported by a PUAN Grant in 2023.

While he couldn’t attend the 2025 CDS Annual Conference in Geneva, NY (July 6–9) hence, received the award virtually. His abstract was accepted for presentation at the conference, and he was also selected for the CDS Diversity Fund Travel Scholarship.

Mr. Mehdi exemplifies the spirit of PUAN — dedication, impact, and community-centered leadership. Congratulations on this global recognition!
