The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) in collaboration with the U.S. Mission in Pakistan and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan will launch the PUAN National Internship Program (in-person) taking place from June 02 to August 29, 2025. With more than 45,000 alumni across the country, PUAN has an incredible network of young alumni eager to gain work experience in various fields of interest.

In 2025, 40 senior PUAN alumni will offer valuable experience and career guidance to 40 young PUAN members. Eligible interns should be current undergraduate students in local universities or recent university graduates in last one year and looking for jobs. Interns should agree to work full-time for three months. In exchange, mentors will provide substantive assignments and guidance to the interns.

PUAN will offer Rs. 35,000/- stipend per month to interns only to contribute towards their daily food, transportation, and communications costs. The selected mentors will be volunteering their services for three-month period during the internship program.

Execution Period: June 02 – August 29, 2025

Please note that participant selection for all PUAN programs and activities, including internship, is based on merit.

With limited job opportunities for new graduates, this 12-week internship experience gives junior PUAN members a real advantage in the job market. Previous PUAN internships have resulted in full-time employment offers for several alumni. Due to the limited number of slots, PUAN will select a total of 40 young mentees from the 14 PUAN chapters for this opportunity. Both mentor and mentees should reside in the same city of the internship program. If not, interns must manage their own accommodation and travel costs (PUAN is not covering boarding and lodging costs of interns).
