As the first-ever Pakistani to hold this prestigious position in ACCA’s 120-year history, Ayla’s accomplishment is a testament to her trailblazing leadership. ACCA, a global organization operating in 180 countries, supports a vibrant community of 778,000 individuals, including 252,500 members and 526,000 future members.

In her year as President, Ayla will lead with a focus on “A new future for accountancy with a strategic lens and a stakeholder approach”—a vision to redefine the dynamic and evolving role of accountants globally. As part of her role, she will also chair ACCA’s Global Board.
