The Quetta Chapter of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) recently held its annual chapter, bringing together a diverse group of around 120 alumni for an evening of networking, inspiration, and celebration.

The event, held at the Serena Hotel Quetta, welcomed participants from various fields, including journalism, medicine, academia, and more. The reunion was graced by the presence of Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Raheela Durrani. In her address, the Minister highlighted the importance of such reunions in fostering strong connections and building bridges. She shared personal experiences from her visit to the United States, emphasizing how those learnings have impacted her work.It was particularly enriching to have Samana Qaseem from PUAN-USEFP and Fareeha Fatima from the U.S. Consulate, Karachi to join the festivities.

Beyond its annual reunion, the Quetta Chapter is known for its active role in community service projects and programs. The program itself featured engaging discussions and debates on pressing issues like climate change and women’s harassment.

Chapter President Mir Bahram Baloch, along with Vice President Salman Khan and other members, addressed the gathering. President Baloch emphasized the reunion’s core purpose: to strengthen networks and build a stronger alumni community.

Participants were also informed about Quetta chapter’s year-round activities, gaining valuable insights into the network’s ongoing initiatives.

The evening culminated in a grand musical showcase, featuring talented local artists from Balochistan. The vibrant performances of cultural dances and songs offered a fitting conclusion to a night of reconnection and shared experiences.
