Did you know there are over 45,000 members of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) spread across the country — including more than 12,000 in Punjab alone?
These inspiring alumni, all former participants of U.S. government-funded exchange programs, are actively leveraging their knowledge and experience to lead meaningful change in their communities. From education to entrepreneurship, they are strengthening the foundations of local development while fostering deeper U.S.-Pakistan collaboration.
Recently, Consul General Ms. Hawkins had the pleasure of meeting some of these dynamic alumni from Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, and Sahiwal. The discussions highlighted the alumni’s impactful work and explored opportunities in areas such as business innovation, cross-border partnerships, and community development.
It’s alumni like these who are building bridges between our two nations — one initiative, one idea, and one conversation at a time.
