PUAN Grants
The PUAN Grants (PG) Program is jointly administered by the U.S. Mission in Pakistan and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN). This grant program aims to strengthen mutual understanding between the American and Pakistani people and encourages alumni to leverage their exchange programs’ learning to put ideas into action to create meaningful change. The program offers three types of funding opportunities on a competitive basis, for initiatives that create impact at professional, organizational and community levels. These funding opportunities are open to PUAN Members.
Proposals are being accepted from Wednesday, January 01, 2025 until 3pm on Friday, January 31, 2025. Proposals can only be submitted through online process.
Special Themes PUAN Grants: Capped at 1.5 million PKR (an increase from the previous 1 million PKR limit).
Open Theme PUAN Grants: Capped at 1 million PKR (an increase from the previous 500,000 PKR limit).
PUAN Connect: Chapter Alumni Engagement-to network and strengthen connections between PUAN members at the local and chapter level- capped at 250,000 PKR.
The maximum grant period is six months from approval date. Funds for approved/successful proposals are expected to be disbursed in late March 2025. Project activities should not be planned before the start of April 2025 and must not go beyond 30 September 2025.
