Introducing ‘Hopeprenuers’ in Quetta

Quetta! A land of mountains where where though borders and circumstances create a divide, a beacon of hope is rising: Hopeprenuers – Empowering Refugees and Host Communities. Fueled by the support of the Pakistan U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) and the U.S. Mission in Pakistan under Alumni Small Grant (ASG), this groundbreaking initiative is poised to revolutionize the city’s entrepreneurial landscape. The initiative is led by Rahim Shah, Global Ugrad alumnus. It is driven by the vision of a community where everyone, regardless of their past or present, can unleash their entrepreneurial potential, Hopeprenuers is turning dreams into reality. Through a powerful collaboration between the International Center for Refugee and Migration Studies (ICRMS) and the National Incubation Center (NIC) – National Expansion Plan (NEP), the initiative fosters understanding, cooperation, and solidarity between refugees and the host community.

More than just launching businesses, Hopeprenuers celebrates diversity and resilience. It bridges the gap between idea and execution, weaving a tapestry of inclusion and opportunity. By uplifting, empowering, and transforming lives, the initiative provides a hand up, not just a handout, to around 40 microenterprises, equipping them with the tools and support needed to flourish. Because at Hopeprenuers, they believe everyone deserves a chance to shine.

Hopeprenuers matters because it’s a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and collective action. It’s a lifeline for those who dare to dream, offering them the resources and guidance to turn their dreams into reality. Most importantly, it’s a shining example of what can be achieved when we come together with a shared purpose: to build a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Join this incredible journey of empowerment and transformation. Together, let’s break down barriers, defy expectations, and pave the way for a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Because when we stand united, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.
