Chapter Leadership Recognized: U.S. Consulate General Peshawar recognized the KP/FATA Chapter Executive Council Members’ contributions with Certificates of Appreciation at an Oct. 25 meeting. During the meeting with consulate staff, executive council members shared their experiences in the United States and discussed plans for future activities.
Celebrating International Day of the Girl: The KP/FATA chapter president delivered an Oct. 11 lecture on women’s rights at Iqra National University. Topics included protection against harassment of women at the workplace. The event was well attended and included a lively Q&A.
Alumni Provide Medical Support to Local Villagers: KP/FATA alumni organized an Oct. 11 medical camp in Charsadda. At the camp, alumni provided free medicine to children, women and the elderly. Registered medical practitioners also volunteered their time and offered free health checkups for local villagers.
