Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network Sets Ambitious Goals for the Coming Year at 14th NEC Meeting

The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) held its 14th annual National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting last week, in Islamabad, Pakistan. The meeting was attended by NEC members from all 14 PUAN chapters, as well as representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).

The NEC meeting is an important opportunity for PUAN leaders to come together to discuss the network’s progress and plans for the future. During the meeting, NEC members reviewed PUAN’s accomplishments over the past year, including launching the PUAN Internship Program, expanding the PUAN Small Grants Program, and hosting a number of successful events and programs. They also discussed PUAN’s goals for the coming year, including Country Projects, launching new initiatives to support alumni-led social impact projects, and increasing PUAN’s visibility and engagement with the broader Pakistani public.

In addition to discussing PUAN’s internal affairs, NEC members also met with representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad to discuss ways to strengthen the U.S.-Pakistan relationship. The meeting was a productive one, and both sides expressed their commitment to working together to promote mutual understanding and cooperation.

The 14th PUAN NEC meeting was a success, and it helped to set the stage for another year of growth and impact for the network.

PUAN is grateful to its NEC members for their dedication and service, and to the U.S. Embassy and USEFP for their continued support.
