A proud moment for the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network! Chaudhry Faisal Mahmood, alumnus of PUAN’s Legal Incubators Program 2016, has been elected President of the Student Union at Suffolk County College, the largest campus in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Representing over 25,000 students, Faisal’s victory follows a two-week campaign driven by community engagement and student empowerment. “I received overwhelming support from all communities. I’m deeply grateful to my campaign team and ready to work selflessly for positive change,” he shared.

Currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice Science, Faisal’s leadership journey is a testament to the power of student voices and cross-cultural impact.
