PUAN proudly congratulates our International Exchange and Leadership Program (IELP) alumna Mehwish Muhib Kakakhel on receiving a Certificate of Special Recognition from the Jury of the Justitia Awards 2025.

She was honored for breaking barriers as the first female partner of a law firm in Pakistan, her pioneering work in cybercrime law, and her commitment to empowering women lawyers.

Reflecting on her U.S. exchange journey, Mehwish shared:

“My participation in the IELP on Tackling Cybercrimes was instrumental in shaping my understanding of digital law enforcement. The hands-on exposure to U.S. federal agencies like the FBI, DHS, and the Department of State deepened my insight into cybercrime prevention, prosecution, and international cooperation. This experience empowered me to contribute meaningfully to legal reforms and cyber justice in Pakistan.”
