PUAN Connects Spotlight: Bridging Young Entrepreneurs with Industry Leaders

Meet Muhammad Hussain Amin, an inspiring PUAN alumnus of the English Access Microscholarship Program (2012–2014) and the SUSI – Student Leaders Program (2018).

Hussain Amin is one of the five grantees who have won grants under PUAN Connects. His initiative “Bridging Young Entrepreneurs with Industry Leaders” has been designed to connect youth-led startups with the Mansehra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) to enhance mentorship, business growth, and market access.

Through targeted sessions on MCCI’s role, business development, and scaling strategies, the project will to build a long-term, sustainable network between industry leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs—empowering youth and strengthening the local economy.

With over five years of experience in the development sector, Muhammad Hussain Amin currently serves as Senior Programme Manager at E-HANDS and Program Director of the English Access Scholarship Program, implemented in partnership with the U.S. Mission in Pakistan.

Hussain Amin has led impactful initiatives such as Taleem-e-Amn and Taleem-e-Amn 2.0—Pakistan’s first residential peace camps for madrassa students—and has worked extensively on youth empowerment, peacebuilding, gender inclusion, interfaith harmony, and SDG advocacy. He has also served as President of the Young Peace and Development Corps under Pakistan’s Ministry of Planning and currently sits on the Steering Committee of the Inclusivity Community of Practice at The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers.
