PUAN Flood Warriors Digging Deep to Help their Compatriots

Helping flood victims in this hour of difficulty is not only our responsibility, but it is also a virtue. The widespread destruction has compounded the challenge of accessing affected people. PUAN flood warriors known for their altruism are digging deep within these tough times to come to their compatriots’ help. Dr. Amjad Saqib, a 1995 senior Humphrey alumnus and founder of Akhuwat (2022 Nobel Peace Prize nominee and recipient of Asia’s Nobel Prize” Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2021) is spearheading relief efforts in the South Punjab region.

Dr. Amjad Saqib is the Founder and Chairman of the Akhuwat Foundation in Lahore. His organization is at the forefront of bringing relief to flood-affected communities and reaching out to more deserving families. Dr. Amjad Saqib strongly believes that it is everyone’s responsibility to share the pain and suffering of others and help them with their difficulties.
