PUAN National Internship Program 2026 Recognizes Interns from Three Punjab Chapters

The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) continues to translate U.S. exchange learning into practical professional opportunities, helping emerging professionals strengthen workplace skills, expand professional networks, and prepare for their careers.

Torrey Goad, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy, joined the closing ceremony of the PUAN National Internship Program 2026 for interns from the Central Punjab, North Punjab, and South Punjab chapters, recognizing their completion of 12 weeks of hands-on workplace experience under the mentorship of PUAN alumni.

Through the program, interns gained practical exposure to professional environments, developed workplace competencies, and benefited from guidance provided by experienced alumni mentors. The initiative connected emerging talent with professionals who volunteered their time and expertise to support the next generation of exchange alumni.

The program reflects the value of U.S. exchange experiences as an investment in professional skills and networks that can support innovation, workforce competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity. By helping alumni build market-relevant skills, PUAN contributes to developing a workforce better prepared to participate in Pakistan’s evolving economy and engage with opportunities linked to U.S.-Pakistan commercial relations.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of interns from the three Punjab chapters and recognized the contributions of alumni mentors who helped translate professional learning into practical workplace experience.
