PUAN North Punjab Reunion Highlights the Power of U.S. Exchange Programs

American excellence in education, innovation, and leadership continues to strengthen communities and prepare future leaders while building lasting global partnerships. These values were clearly reflected at the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) North Punjab Reunion, which brought together U.S. exchange alumni committed to positive change.

The reunion was joined by Stetson Sanders, Consul General, U.S. Consulate, Lahore. His interaction with alumni highlighted the importance of people-to-people ties in the U.S.–Pakistan relationship and the long-term value of exchange programs in developing civic and professional leadership.

Alumni from diverse fields, including education, entrepreneurship, media, public service, and development, shared experiences and discussed local challenges. Many spoke about how their U.S. exchange experiences influenced their work and encouraged collaboration across sectors.

More than a social gathering, the reunion demonstrated the strength of alumni networks in fostering cooperation and mutual understanding. Through PUAN, alumni continue to translate global exposure into local impact, reinforcing a partnership built on shared values, trust, and long-term engagement.
