The one-day event organized by the Pakistan US Alumni Network Sukkur Chapter led by Miss. Narmeen Latif was a significant step towards addressing mental health issues and preventing suicide. The event, titled “Finding Hope and Overcoming Suicidal Tendencies,” took place on 16th of September 2023. The primary objective of this event was to create awareness, provide support, and foster open discussions surrounding mental health challenges and suicide prevention.
Event Highlights:
Expert-led Sessions: The event featured expert-led sessions conducted by mental health professionals. These sessions focused on understanding the signs of suicidal tendencies, offering support, and promoting mental well-being.
Open Dialogues: Attendees actively participated in open discussions and sharing personal experiences. This allowed for a safe space where individuals could express their concerns and seek guidance without judgment.
