Our SUSI alumnus, Hamza Akram, recently organized an engaging 3-day event in Istanbul, Turkey known as the International Volunteer Forum (IVF 2.0). This forum successfully brought together an impressive group of over 60 delegates representing more than 30 countries. IVF 2.0 served as a global platform to celebrate the transformative potential of volunteerism in effecting positive change within our communities and beyond. The event was a significant gathering that united passionate individuals, organizations, policymakers, and influential thinkers from across the world to explore innovative approaches to volunteerism, advocate for policy reforms, and enhance the impact of volunteer initiatives on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
