Welcome to the latest edition of the PUAN Fortnightly Newsletter! This past fortnight has been a remarkable testament to the power of community, innovation, and leadership across our network. From launching nationwide programs to empower the next generation of leaders, to celebrating cross-cultural excellence through entrepreneurship and the arts, our alumni continue to drive meaningful change. A major highlight of this period was the successfully concluded PUAN Masterclass 2026, where 50 alumni from across Pakistan gathered to gain digital trade skills, paving the way for enhanced global market access.

PUAN Masterclass 2026: E-Commerce and Digital Trade

Organized by Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) in partnership with Tech Valley Pakistan and supported by the U.S. Mission to Pakistan, this intensive, five-day Masterclass from June 8-12, 2026 brought together 50 U.S. exchange alumni from 14 chapters to build vital Pakistan-U.S. economic partnerships. Senior American officials directly supported the initiative to champion digital skills and international market access. David Moyer (Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad) launched the sessions by highlighting American tech leadership and the integration of the globally recognized Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate. Concluding the Masterclass, Andrew Halus (Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, U.S. Mission to Pakistan) commended the alumni on meeting prestigious American standards in digital commerce to tap into the United States-Pakistan’s largest export market. PUAN Masterclass Day 1: The Regulatory Gateway – Focus on Export Readiness and Digital Trade Opportunities

Participants assessed their current business maturity through diagnostic tax compliance and SEO checks, learned methods for identifying high-demand product categories, and analyzed digital export landscapes with guidance from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). PUAN Masterclass Day 2: The Digital Storefront – Building Infrastructure and Unlocking Global Market Access

Alumni engaged in an interactive prototype lab to build customized Shopify stores, optimized product visual presentation using cutting-edge AI tools, and mapped out international payment infrastructure using accessible gateways like Payoneer. For more details, visit here.

PUAN Masterclass Day 3: Strategic Ecosystems: Exploring Operations Behind Digital Commerce and Export Growth

The cohort toured the operational hubs of Sybrid Pvt. Ltd. to observe large-scale customer care systems, integrated Google NotebookLM for smart market research, and learned to shift away from treating technology as an expense, prioritizing it instead as foundational infrastructure. The second half of the day challenged participants to think beyond products and websites and focus on building complete business ecosystems capable of supporting sustainable growth and international expansion. PUAN Masterclass Day 4: Scaling with Intelligence – Digital Marketing and Brand Positioning for Export Markets

Entrepreneurs explored the Meta Business Suite and TikTok Ads Manager to set up retargeting funnels, automated their everyday customer support channels via AI tools, and mastered the step-by-step “DM-to-Sale” conversational sales funnel. For more details, visit here.

Masterclass Day 5: The Launchpad for U.S. Exchange Alumni to Showcase Export Roadmaps at Conclusion

PUAN Launches National Internship Program 2026

The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) has officially kicked off its National Internship Program 2026, uniting 39 promising interns and 38 experienced mentors across 14 nationwide chapters. Spanning from June 1 to August 31, 2026, this three-month professional development track is carefully designed to empower emerging alumni leaders with hands-on, practical experience in communications, program management, community research, and civic leadership.
