Strengthening Connections: The 2025 Annual PUAN Karachi Reunion

The 2025 PUAN Karachi Reunion brought together 140 alumni members of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network providing a great opportunity to reconnect, share stories, and strengthen professional bonds.

Highlights included impactful speeches from Consul General Scott Urbom and other U.S. Mission officials, as well as inspiring testimonials from alumni like Amina Ansari, Salman Tariq, and Rahmeen Urooj Zaidi on how PUAN influenced their careers and personal journeys.

Ambassador Blome Visits USEFP

We were honored to host U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald A. Blome, at the USEFP office in Islamabad! During his visit, he praised USEFP for its role in strengthening U.S.-Pakistan ties through impactful exchange programs like Fulbright, Humphrey, and Global UGRAD.

Unlock Opportunities: Join the PUAN Grants Program Live Orientation

Join us for our first live Facebook session on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐚𝐭 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌. During the session, our team will provide an orientation on the goals and objectives of the PUAN Grants Program and get your questions answered.

PUAN Grants Program-Launched on January 01, 2025

PUAN has started accepting grant applications from January 01, 2025 under PUAN Grants Program. Under this program, PUAN is offering three types of funding opportunities with an implementation period of six months.

  • Thematic PUAN Grants-capped at 1.5 million PKR (an increase from the previous 1 million PKR limit).
  • Open Concept PUAN Grants-capped at 1 million PKR (an increase from the previous 500,000 PKR limit).
  • PUAN Connect Grants-to network and strengthen connections between PUAN members at the local and chapter level. These PUAN Grants are capped at 250,000 PKR.

Fulbright 2026: Apply Now for Graduate Study in the United States

The 2026 Fulbright Student Program is now open for aspiring Pakistanis! This is your opportunity to pursue a Master’s or PhD in the United States with a fully funded scholarship that covers tuition, living expenses, insurance, and airfare.
