Arts Entrepreneurship Showcase Highlights

At the Arts Entrepreneurship Showcase, Pakistani creative entrepreneurs displayed the businesses, products, and ideas they have built with the help of U.S. exchange programs, grants, and skills-building programs. PUAN Grants Project Promotes Youth Economic Literacy in South Punjab

The Youth Economic Literacy and Digital Awareness Initiative in South Punjab, supported by the U.S. Mission to Pakistan in partnership with the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN), has been launched by IELP 2024 alumna Aqsa Ahmad.

During the reporting period, the project conducted student and stakeholder orientation sessions, engaging 130 participants. The sessions introduced the project’s objectives, implementation plan, and expected outcomes, while highlighting the importance of economic literacy and digital skills for youth in South Punjab.. A Leap of Faith That Stitched Together a Global Dream

From taking a bold step to learn the apparel industry in Sialkot to building a business that serves international brands, Ameer Hamza Rauf—an English Works 2019 alumnus, member of the PUAN Central Punjab Chapter, Founder of Danis Fabrico, and participant of the PUAN Export Masterclass 2026—is showcasing Pakistan’s manufacturing excellence on the global stage.

By leveraging digital trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Ameer is creating opportunities, generating jobs, and strengthening Pakistan’s presence in international markets.

Lincoln Corners Pakistan

Lincoln Corners are partnerships between the U.S. Embassy and local institutions across Pakistan, serving as American-style cultural and information centers. They are multi-media resource hubs offering access to reliable information about the U.S., English language learning, and a venue for cultural programs and open dialogue. PUAN members are strongly encouraged to utilize these centers for networking, hosting alumni events, accessing eLibraryUSA research databases, and connecting with local communities.
