Empowering Quetta Girls in the Digital Economy with ASG: PUAN’s Bibi Aaisha’s Journey


Bibi Aaisha is a digital entrepreneur and English language instructor from Quetta, Pakistan. She holds an MA in English and a BS in Software Engineering, boasting a unique blend of linguistic and technical expertise. With certifications in E-commerce, Amazon, and web development, she completed an online course on Teacher Trainers from Arizona State University, sponsored by RELO.

Bibi Aaisha’s journey is fueled by her passion for empowering youth, especially girls, through digital skills. Actively contributing to skill development initiatives with the Government of Balochistan and NAVTTC, she’s committed to English language teaching and development.

As an online freelancer, Bibi Aaisha leverages digital platforms to enhance her entrepreneurial endeavors and expand her competence in language teaching. Balancing diverse domains, she thrives on creating growth opportunities.

Supported by U.S. Mission to Pakistan, Bibi Aaisha is currently implementing an Alumni Small Grant (ASG) titled, ‘Quetta Girls’ Digital Entrepreneurship Bootcamp’. This transformative initiative is aimed at empowering young girls in Quetta with essential skills and knowledge in digital entrepreneurship.

The recent inaugural session marked the beginning of the project roll-out. During the session, participants were introduced to the exciting world of digital entrepreneurship and received an in-depth overview of ecommerce. The engagement and enthusiasm displayed by the participants were truly inspiring, with many eager to explore the possibilities offered by digital platforms.

Through initiatives like the Quetta Girls’ Digital Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, Bibi Aaisha continues to make a significant impact, paving the way for girls in Quetta to achieve economic independence in the digital era.
