The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) engages its members through various activities and initiatives, facilitated by the U.S. Consulates of Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and community development.
PUAN, in partnership with the U.S. Consulates, organizes networking events, exclusively for Pakistani alumni of U.S. exchange programs. These engagements provide a platform for alumni to connect, exchange ideas, and build professional relationships, with the support and guidance of the consulate.
The U.S. Consulates’-based engagements also include capacity-building programs tailored to the needs of alumni. Training sessions, mentorship programs, and leadership development workshops are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants, empowering them to excel in their fields and contribute effectively to Pakistan’s development.
In line with the U.S. Mission’s focus on community service, PUAN encourages alumni to actively participate in volunteer activities, social impact projects, and advocacy campaigns. These engagements align with the U.S. Mission to support initiatives that bring about positive change and empower communities in Pakistan.
Additionally, PUAN, in collaboration with the consulate, provides access to resources, grants, and scholarships that enable alumni to pursue further education, research opportunities, or entrepreneurial ventures. These engagements aim to support the continued growth and success of alumni, while strengthening the ties between Pakistan and the United States.
